When You Can’t Be There..

The Pet Spa Family will take care of your fur baby with the love and compassion you give them. Our staff has an incredible connection with all animals and takes pride in treating your pets as their own, from the time you make the appointment to the time they leave us all groomed and feeling great.

We have found that many of our first time clients are hesitant in leaving their pets in a strange place, we pride ourselves on making sure they are loved and become comfortable with their surroundings while at The Pet Spa.

“While it’s easy to compare pet grooming to a trip to the salon, the reality is quite different. Grooming a live animal involves unique challenges that require time, patience, and specialized skill. Unlike human clients, pets often move unpredictably, resist certain parts of the grooming process, or become anxious, making timing far less predictable. Groomers work without the cooperation of a sitting, still client, and must constantly ensure both the animal’s safety and their own. There are also health checks, nail trims, de-shedding, and sanitation tasks that go well beyond a simple cut and style. The physical demands and risks involved mean that a groom can take longer and require more expertise, which is why the cost may be higher than a typical beauty salon visit. We appreciate your understanding and value the trust you place in us to care for your pet with professionalism and compassion.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I get my pet groomed?

It depends on your pet's breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Generally, dogs with long or thick coats should be groomed every 4-6 weeks, while short-haired breeds may require grooming every 6-8 weeks. Our team can provide personalized recommendations based on your pet's needs.

What types of grooming services do you offer?

We offer a wide range of grooming services including bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing. We also offer specialized services like flea treatments, de-shedding, and skin care for pets with special needs.

Is the grooming process safe for my pet?

Absolutely! Our team is highly trained in pet care and grooming techniques. We use only safe, pet-friendly products and ensure that your pet is handled with the utmost care and respect throughout the grooming process.

How long does the appointment take?

Because we deal with many anxious and elderly pets our process is as followed. It is a 4 hour appointment, this allows us to give them breaks and some loving in between each step of the process. While other groomers may prefer to work on an animal straight through we find it puts to much stress on them and prefer to spend the extra time allowing them to chill.

If your pet has a special need, we ask you to mention this at the time of your appointment so that we are prepared to offer them a stress-free experience and can more accurately quote you the amount of time needed for the groom or bath. We handle elderly pets with loving hands and give them as many breaks as they may need.

We spend time socializing with the shy and non-trusting ones to help them feel safe and understood. Besides, for a quality groom we want your pets to have quality experience.

Are there any breeds you will not groom?

We welcome all breeds. Both Canine and Feline.
